Job Description

With your passion to deliver high-quality, safe, and effective hotel services which support the well-being and comfort of our residents, you will be responsible for the alignment and implementation of our hotel services across Warrigal’s portfolio. Travelling regularly between our services, you will work closely with the General Manager of Hotel Operations identify opportunities in the key operational areas of food services, housekeeping and laundry. With a collaborative approach, you will connect within all disciplines of the organisation to improve operational efficiency and resident satisfaction.

Job Responsibility

  • Champion Consistency: Ensure our teams deliver consistently high standards in food, cleaning, laundry, and customer service across all sites
  • Drive Operational Excellence: Conduct regular site visits and audits to maintain quality, safety, and compliance, while identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate for Impact: Work closely with chefs, procurement, and home managers to optimise resources, reduce waste, and deliver sustainable, cost-effective services
  • Enhance Resident Experience: Lead initiatives that improve dining experiences, capture dietary needs, and respond to resident feedback to shape better services
  • Standardise Systems: Implement and monitor SOPs, food safety programs, and menu offerings to ensure consistency and compliance across all homes
  • Lead with Insight: Use data and feedback to inform strategic decisions, support risk mitigation, and continuously improve hospitality services

Requirements

  • Completed a Cert IV in Hospitality Management, Commercial Cookery or a related field
  • At least 2 years’ experience in hospitality or aged care services
  • Genuine empathy for older people and a strong commitment to customer service, quality, and continuous improvement
  • Practical experience delivering food, cleaning and/or laundry services
  • Strong understanding of what quality looks like in both hospitality and aged care settings
  • Demonstrated knowledge of relevant legislation and standards including experience in menu costing
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships and work well in a team
