Hospitality Manager | Residential Aged Care. Are you a Chef or Hospitality Leader ready to swap the grueling split-shifts for a role with purpose and a true work-life balance? Our Client is a for-purpose organization with a legacy spanning over a century. They are known for providing compassionate, high-quality care when it is needed most. They are currently seeking a passionate Hospitality Manager to lead their services in Young, NSW, and transform "standard care" into a "home-like experience." Reporting to the Service Manager, you won’t just be managing a kitchen; you will be the heart of the home. You will lead a dedicated team across Catering, Housekeeping, and Laundry to ensure residents live in comfort, safety, and dignity.

Job Responsibility:

  • Leading the Kitchen: Overseeing nutritious, high-quality meal service (and jumping "on the tools" when the team needs an expert hand)
  • Operational Excellence: Managing set menus, local suppliers, and resources efficiently within budget
  • Environmental Standards: Driving excellence in housekeeping and laundry services to ensure every detail is compliant and pristine
  • People First: Fostering a positive, team-oriented environment through mentoring and staff development

Requirements:

  • Trade Qualified: Relevant qualifications with previous experience as a Chef or Cook
  • Natural Leader: Proven ability to manage, coach, and inspire large, diverse teams
  • Compliance Savvy: A rock-solid understanding of OHS, Food Safety standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Multi-Disciplinary: Experience (or a strong interest) in managing housekeeping and laundry operations

Nice to have:

  • Aged care experience is a plus
  • Background in hotels or restaurants
