Job Description

We are looking for a Hospitality Lead to oversee daily office hospitality operations in New York, NY. This Contract position is ideal for a service-focused leader who can guide a team, maintain a consistent workplace experience, and respond confidently in a busy, high-visibility setting. The role supports multiple floors and requires someone who can balance hands-on execution with team coordination while upholding consistent service standards.

Job Responsibility

  • Direct the day-to-day activities of a front-line hospitality and office services team, providing clear guidance, support, and accountability across assigned coverage areas
  • Monitor pantry spaces, meeting areas, and conference rooms to ensure they remain organized, stocked, and ready for employee and guest use throughout the day
  • Coordinate staffing coverage and task assignments across several floors, adjusting priorities to meet changing business demands and traffic patterns
  • Step in to assist with operational tasks when needed, including room preparations, event support, and post-event reset activities
  • Coach and train team members on service expectations, workplace presentation, and effective execution in a fast-paced environment
  • Work closely with onsite leadership and partner teams to keep communication aligned, address service needs, and resolve issues quickly
  • Identify potential service gaps before they affect the client experience and escalate concerns appropriately when additional support is needed
  • Track operational details and contribute to simple reports, spreadsheets, or presentation materials that support planning and performance visibility

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience leading or supervising a team in a hospitality, office services, or similar customer-facing environment
  • At least 1-2 years of hospitality experience with a solid understanding of detail-focused service standards
  • Ability to perform effectively in a high-volume, fast-moving workplace while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to keep team members, managers, and partners informed and aligned
  • Proven ability to coach others, reinforce expectations, and build accountability through a supportive leadership style
  • Comfortable working onsite and managing day-to-day service execution across multiple floors or functional areas
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and confidence creating basic documents or presentations for tracking and communication purposes
