Job Responsibility

  • To prepare and oversee all preparation of food to the highest standard
  • Reporting directly into the Executive Head Chef
  • You will be responsible for delivering exceptional dining and food experiences
  • Operating from a purpose built and brand new hospitality kitchen, our Events and Hospitality service
  • From meeting room lunches to fine dining, this is a role where working as part of a tightly knit team is a crucial factor
  • Looking after hospitality and events
  • Leading a team of 4 chefs
  • To produce food in a timely fashion to ensure smooth service to the customers
  • To ensure that all appropriate ingredients are available for the menus
  • To develop and plan menus that are in line with client and customer expectations
  • To be creative when menu planning and including the client and customers
  • Pride yourself on food quality and hygiene standard
  • Overall responsibility for managing the kitchen team
  • Provide feedback and coaching on performance
  • To ensure that the kitchen team have completed up to date COSSH and Food Hygiene training

  • Have a understanding of all aspects of kitchen management including financial, safety and people processes
