Job Description:

We are looking for a Hospitalist (Pediatric) for a full-time permanent role onsite in Las Vegas, NV. *This position is considered At-Will and will serve at the pleasure of the CEO* **Successful candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and able to go W2**

Job Responsibility:

  • Responsible for providing direct patient clinical care and managing medical problems of acutely ill, hospitalized, pediatric patients
  • The Pediatric Hospitalist is a part of the interdisciplinary team to improve efficiency and facilitate continuum of care for patients from admission to discharge

Requirements:

  • Valid License by State of Nevada to practice medicine
  • State of Nevada Pharmacy Board License to Prescribe Medications and DEA Controlled Substance Registration Certificate
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) (some positions)
  • Board Eligible for Pediatric Hospital Medicine
  • Knowledge of: Pediatric care, equipment, supplies and practices
  • federal, state, local and accreditation laws, regulations and standards
  • related outside agencies, their services, roles and responsibilities

  • Strength and agility to exert up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
  • Education: Graduation from an accredited school of medicine
  • Completed an accredited three (3) year pediatric residency and board certified or board eligible
