We are looking for a Hospitalist (Pediatric) for a full-time permanent role onsite in Las Vegas, NV. *This position is considered At-Will and will serve at the pleasure of the CEO* **Successful candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and able to go W2**
Job Responsibility:
Responsible for providing direct patient clinical care and managing medical problems of acutely ill, hospitalized, pediatric patients
The Pediatric Hospitalist is a part of the interdisciplinary team to improve efficiency and facilitate continuum of care for patients from admission to discharge
Requirements:
Valid License by State of Nevada to practice medicine
State of Nevada Pharmacy Board License to Prescribe Medications and DEA Controlled Substance Registration Certificate
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) (some positions)
Board Eligible for Pediatric Hospital Medicine
Knowledge of: Pediatric care, equipment, supplies and practices
federal, state, local and accreditation laws, regulations and standards
related outside agencies, their services, roles and responsibilities
principles and practices of medical care
quality assurance and performance improvement principles and methods
department and hospital safety practice and procedures

Physical Requirements: Mobility to work in a typical office setting and use standard equipment, stamina to remain seated and maintain concentration for extended periods of time

Strength and agility to exert up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
Education: Graduation from an accredited school of medicine
Completed an accredited three (3) year pediatric residency and board certified or board eligible
