Job Description

A highly reputable health system in Petoskey, Michigan, is actively seeking a certified hospitalist nurse practitioner for an exciting locum tenens opportunity. This position requires covering hospital calls with 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, on a 7 days on/7 days off schedule. Join a supportive team focused on providing exceptional care to adult inpatient patients.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide comprehensive care to adult inpatient patients
  • Collaborate with the nocturnist physician and support staff
  • Use Cerner EMR for accurate and timely documentation
  • Participate in hospital call coverage

Requirements

  • Must be certified as an NP Hospitalist
  • Active Michigan license required
  • Must reside in or near Michigan
  • drive-in candidates only
  • Proficient in managing adult inpatient care
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Competency with Cerner EMR system
