Board eligible/Board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
Highly effective verbal and written communication skills, including use of email, are necessary in dealing with a variety of healthcare professionals, Adfinitas colleagues, family members, and patients.

Job Responsibility

Spend roughly 50% of time as a member of the hospitalist team at Charles Regional Medical Center in LaPlata, Maryland, responsible for admitting patients, performing physical exams, ordering tests, diagnosing, performing hospital rounds, and planning for discharge.
Spend the other half of time serving as an attending physician across several skilled nursing facility clients in Southern Maryland, performing exams and developing treatment plans, adhering to Adfinitas and facility’s policies and procedures, facilitating patient’s transition within and between healthcare settings, and collaborating with multidisciplinary team members.
