Job Description

We have a full-time opportunity for an Experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our hospitalist team at Anne Arundel Medical Center. This is a flexible block shift schedule. Our hospitalist team provides inpatient internal medicine care within the hospital setting, including admitting patients, performing physical exams, ordering tests, diagnosing, performing hospital rounds and planning for discharge. Full-service hospitalist practice at Luminis Health Anne Arundel Medical Center (LHAAMC); LHAAMC has achieved a second Magnet Designation awarded by the ANCC; University hospital with excellent specialty support; Average 15 patients/day; Closed ICU, our team is not expected to perform procedures or run codes; Staffing Model: 23 providers; 12 physicians/11 APPs; EMR: EPIC; Beds 423; Graduate of an accredited Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program; APPs are encouraged to work at the top of their license. Job Responsibility
