  • Provide inpatient medicine services to the adult population 18 years of age or older
  • Work autonomously and collaboratively with the hospitalists, inpatient APPs and clinical support staff to manage adult inpatients
  • Perform all aspects of inpatient general medical management for adult patients, including hospital admissions, rounding, discharges and consultative services
  • Responsible for clinical care of acute, subacute and chronic disease processes including appropriate utilization of ancillary clinical staff and subspecialty services
  • Rotate throughout Greater Charlotte Hospital Medicine teams covering vacancies and high census
  • Rotating schedules based on vacancy with a focus on prioritizing 7 on 7 off schedule
  • Holidays, weekends and extended hours are required (nights are not required)
  • Shifts may include cross cover responsibilities
  • Teaching opportunities with APP students and ACPP fellows
