Washington State issued Phlebotomy license (MA-P)
1 or more years of experience as a phlebotomist (preferred)
In lieu of state license requirement, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the WA Department of Health at time of hire may meet license requirement
Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
Flexibility to work overtime as needed
Exceptional customer service
Strong communication skills

Ability to work independently or in a team environment
Comfortable working under minimal supervision

Job Responsibility

Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc

Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
Maintain patient and specimen information logs
Provide superior customer service to all patients
Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
