Sales and/or account management experience highly preferred. PURPOSE AND SCOPE: Utilizes knowledge of the clinics, the admissions process and the various supporting programs to promote these to the patient as well as to external customers, including hospital discharge planners, referring physicians and other personnel making decisions regarding patient placement within an assigned market geography. Works with the Patient Admissions Services (PAS) staff to facilitate admissions, ensuring each patient receives a superior admission experience and is placed in the appropriate clinic, preferably with a desirable treatment shift schedule. Additional responsibilities within FMCNA-affiliated Acute Programs. Supports FMCNA’s mission, vision, core values and customer service philosophy. Adheres to the FMCNA Compliance Program, including following all regulatory and FMS policy requirements.
Job Responsibility
Utilizes knowledge of the clinics, the admissions process and various supporting programs to promote these to patients and external customers

Contributes to and grows clinic patient census/treatment volume and improves commercial mix
Builds, establishes and maintains referral source relationships
Conducts one-on-one contacts with patients identified for admission to market services and facilitate admission
Facilitates and coordinates admission process for patients referred for Dialysis Services
Collaborates with physicians and hospital staff to obtain information necessary for outpatient placement
Escalates admissions issues according to established procedures
Works with clinical manager(s) to accommodate shift requests
Exhibits knowledge of all insurers and private pay business
Develops and maintains extensive knowledge of dialysis business and support services
Develops and maintains knowledge of local market and industry trends
Provides regular communication to management regarding program status
Conducts market analysis and develops marketing plans
Meets sales & marketing call objectives
Conducts professional sales presentations
Participates in community outreach programs
Determines referral source satisfaction
Collaborates to provide renal education
Reviews and complies with Code of Business Conduct and applicable laws
Assists with projects as assigned
In FMCNA-affiliated Acute Programs conducts additional responsibilities including facilitating placement of in-patient dialysis patients into outpatient setting
Collaborates with outpatient dialysis staff and hospital staff to resolve issues
Focuses on decreasing hospital length of stay
Facilitates provision of renal services for pre-ESRD and ESRD patients
Bachelor's Degree with 2 – 5 years related experience or Master's degree with no experience or equivalent directly related work experience
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and cultivate productive relationships, communicate with all levels of peers and management in a respectful and tactful manner
Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Detail oriented with excellent customer service, organizational and interpersonal skills
