Job Responsibility
Lead day-to-day hospital operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and consistency
Proactively identify and resolve operational inefficiencies
Oversee workforce capacity, including roster alignment, sustainability and operational coverage
Ensure facilities, systems, and equipment are compliant and fit-for-purpose
Drive WHS, compliance, and risk management to best practice
Lead and deliver continuous improvement initiatives and operational projects
Monitor resource utilisation and expenditure to ensure sustainable hospital performance
Support and coach leaders to strengthen execution and accountability
Requirements
Minimum 5+ years’ experience in operations leadership within fast-paced, complex environments (essential)
Demonstrated success in delivering outcomes in high-pressure, dynamic operational settings
Excellent organisational capability and ability to manage competing priorities
Highly developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills
High emotional intelligence with the ability to influence across cross-functional teams
Experience operating within a 24/7 environment (highly regarded)
Background in healthcare, veterinary, aviation, mining or similar 24/7 service-based environments (highly regarded)
