The company is currently looking for a diligent Hospital Medical Billing Coordinator to join its growing team. The ideal Hospital Medical Billing Coordinator should have a deep understanding of billing procedures and be able to carry out his/her role with absolute precision. The Medical Billing Coordinator is expected to have impeccable medical billing an in-depth knowledge of medical insurance, and the drive to ensure that our patients receive their invoices on time.

Job Responsibility

  • Ensure timely submission of medical bills to different insurance companies
  • Conduct verification of patients' insurance coverage
  • Insurance follow up, appeals and denials
  • Determine the patient's financial status and capability to pay their bills
  • Apply appropriate codes to billable goods and services
  • Address and resolve patient complaints regarding bills
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with all federal and state health information privacy laws
  • Monitor and record late payments
  • Regularly report to the Billing Manager
