Job Description:

Labcorp is seeking a Hospital Lab Operations Manager to join our team. This is a remote position. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support the operational design, financial modeling, and implementation of strategic business partnerships with hospitals and health systems
  • Contribute to long-term relationship management by monitoring performance, identifying opportunities for optimization, and ensuring partnership objectives are met
  • Perform detailed operational and financial data analysis for large healthcare systems to identify improvement opportunities, operational efficiencies, and cost-saving strategies
  • Translate analytical insights into actionable recommendations aligned with strategic partnership goals
  • Conduct comprehensive operational assessments across laboratory workflows, staffing, equipment utilization, and productivity
  • Develop and present process improvement recommendations that enhance operational performance and support strategic objectives
  • Lead MSA (Management Services Agreement) implementation efforts as project manager, including creation of project plans, timelines, communication structures, and risk mitigation strategies
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams-operations, finance, IT, supply chain, and executive leadership-to execute project deliverables and ensure successful transition outcomes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in science
  • ASCP or AMT certification
  • 5 years clinical lab experience
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Excellent customer service and presentation skills
