Job Responsibility:
Develop and implement Volunteer Training Program
Recruit and train volunteers
Develop and maintain volunteer retention programs
Assures compliance with all regulatory issues related to volunteers
Develop programs that maximize the use of volunteers in both clinical and administrative services
Assumes other duties as developed by the Director of Operations
Assists in the recruitment, training and development of all volunteer programs as needed
Requirements:
Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and the ability to speak before groups with sensitivity and compassion
Significant group organizational experience
Volunteer experience desired, particular in recruitment, training, and supervision of volunteers
Knowledge of hospice
Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or organization requirements and is in good working order
Demonstrates excellent observation, problem solving, verbal and written communications
Shows ability to organize and prioritize workload independently
