Hose Technician

• Workshop and onsite repair and overhaul of hydraulic components
• Report on equipment following disassembly and inspection
• Ability to work independently and lead other tradespeople
• Reassembly and testing of equipment following repairs
• Onsite hydraulic support for Bluescope Steel and other local businesses
• Perform inspections, repairs, and routine servicing to ensure operational safety and efficiency

• Trade qualifications (Mechanical) as a Fitter, Turner & Machinist or Plant Mechanic w/ hydraulic experience
• Fitting experience with fixed and mobile plant applications
• Understanding the importance of accuracy and quality
• Fault finding and experience with fixed plant and mining equipment desirable
