You will be hands on, leading the team from the front with a variety of gardening tasks, grounds maintenance and cleaning.

Job Responsibility:

  • Leading the team from the front with a variety of gardening tasks, grounds maintenance and cleaning
  • Providing coaching and allocating and prioritising work between team members to meet contract specifications and scheduling
  • Immediately reporting any accidents, injuries, identified hazards and/or risks
  • Developing positive relationships with external customers, suppliers and contractors
  • Promoting Aruma services through excellent customer service

Requirements:

  • A trade and/or horticulture certificate or equivalent qualification or equivalent knowledge and experience
  • Problem solving and technical skills to address maintenance, contract and scheduling issues
  • A high level of physical fitness to meet the manual handling requirements of the position
  • Sound verbal and written communication
  • Sound negotiation skills, able to resolve conflict and assess when to escalate issues
  • Sound organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload
  • Valid current driver's license
  • Working with Children Check or willing to obtain
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check or willing to obtain
  • White card, and understanding of WHS requirements
  • Formal team leadership training and/or equivalent knowledge and experience with demonstrated ability to supervise and support staff
