Job Description:

We are looking for a Full Time Permanent Horticultural Manager to join the team in our Weaver Vale Garden Centre. This is a Full time position with regular weekend working so flexibility is a must.

Job Responsibility:

  • Managing the outdoor plant area
  • Manage department to achieve sales and profit targets
  • Motivate team to maximise opportunities and offer highest standards of customer service
  • Planning & supervising staff resources for daily running of the department
  • Ensuring all stock is clearly and accurately priced and always looking fresh
  • Plant stock replenishment and merchandising to create fabulous plant displays with clear and accurate POS
  • Develop the team to look after and care for plants
  • Advise customers on suitable plants and products
  • Manager regular cleaning and housekeeping tasks
  • As a Garden Centre Duty Manager, take on wider responsibilities for managing the Garden Centre
  • Work with the management team to support duty cover and Centre business priorities

Requirements:

  • Qualified horticulturalist
