As a Homeless Support Officer (Project Worker), you’ll support young people on their journey toward independence in a hands-on, relationship-focused role. This is a frontline role where your support can have a lasting impact on someone’s future. Hurst Newton is a supported living scheme in Wrexham for young people aged 16–25 who are experiencing homelessness. Our aim is to help young people build the confidence, life skills, and independence they need to move forward all within a safe, supportive, and structured environment.
Job Responsibility:
Provide practical and emotional support, helping residents develop essential life skills
Encourage wellbeing, inclusion, and engagement with the wider community
Support individuals with complex needs, including mental health and housing challenges
Build positive, professional relationships while maintaining clear boundaries
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using internal systems
Requirements:
