Job Description:

Make a Real Difference as a Home Care Worker with Alcedo Care in York and the surrounding areas. Do you have a caring nature and a passion for helping others live safely and independently in their own homes? If so, we’d love you to join our award-winning team at Alcedo Care.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support a female in her 20s living independently
  • Support her to re-engage with her studies at university
  • Re-establishing her connections to the community
  • Manage her complex health needs and autism
  • Adhere to the care plan
  • Support her to live life to the full

Requirements:

  • Reliable and committed
  • Experienced with mental health and complex care needs
  • Friendly and approachable
  • Preferably enjoys art and creative activity
  • Able to work with dogs and cats
  • Must hold a Full UK driving license
  • At least 18 years old
  • Willing to work flexible hours, including alternate weekends
  • Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references required
