Job Description:

As the Site Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional support to our SIL Home resident clients in supporting their care plans and independent living. As a dynamic leader, you will guide our support workers to deliver person-cantered care within our residential Supported Independent Living Home service. Your responsibilities will include overseeing daily operations, roster scheduling, coordinating individualised care plans, and fostering a collaborative environment that empowers both team members and our much-loved clients. You will be based onsite at the SIL home to manage the day to day of the team and clients.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting the financial performance of the home service site through effective management of operating expenditure in line with budget
  • Ensuring team member awareness of each individual client’s requirements
  • Providing support that aligned to the person’s plans, goals and any other requirements, including but not limited to all aspects of personal hygiene and living skills to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment is provided
  • Delivering and encouraging others in the accurate documentation of all activities to ensure an accurate audit trail and maintenance of progress notes

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Disability and/or Certificate III in Individual Support will be highly regarded
  • Hold or be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check (Blue Card), NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card), First Aid, CPR, National Criminal History Check (Fit2Work), and an open Drivers License with comprehensive insurance on your vehicle
  • Experience in the Disability and Aged care sector, with complex behaviours and mental health challenges is essential
  • Experience supervising site operations and delivering services aligned with organisational policies and procedures
  • Problem solving skills, to successfully identify problems, develop solutions and implement these using a logical and systematic approach
