Job Description:

As the Home Site Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional support to our clients with various disabilities. As a dynamic leader, you will guide and inspire a dedicated team of support workers to deliver person-cantered care within our residential Supported Independent Living Home service. Your responsibilities will include overseeing daily operations, roster scheduling, coordinating individualised care plans, and fostering a collaborative environment that empowers both team members and our much-loved clients.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting the financial performance of the home service site through effective management of operating expenditure in line with budget
  • Ensuring team member awareness of each individual clients requirements
  • Providing support that aligned to the person’s plans, goals and any other requirements, including but not limited to all aspects of personal hygiene and living skills to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment is provided
  • Delivering and encouraging others in the accurate documentation of all activities to ensure an accurate audit trail and maintenance of progress notes

Requirements:

  • Certificate III/ Diploma in Individual Support will be highly regarded
  • Hold or be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check (Blue Card), NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card), First Aid, CPR, National Criminal History Check (Fit2Work), and an open Drivers License with comprehensive insurance on your vehicle
  • Experience in the Disability and Aged Care sector, including supporting individuals with complex behaviours and living with dementia, is essential
  • Experience supervising site operations and delivering services aligned with organisational policies and procedures
  • Problem solving skills, to successfully identify problems, develop solutions and implement these using a logical and systematic approach
