We are seeking a CeMap qualified Mortgage Adviser with a minimum of 2 years' experience who is eager to pivot into Islamic Finance. This is a unique opportunity to join a pioneering financial services provider in the Islamic finance sector. The ideal candidate will combine a deep understanding of the mortgage market with a genuine passion for delivering Shariah-compliant solutions to our customers. A strong background in Buy-to-Let (BTL) financing is particularly important for this role. You will be expected to assist our clients confidently on complex BTL scenarios including but not limited to; Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMOs), Multi-Unit Blocks (MUBs) & portfolio landlords. This experience will be vital in helping us serve a diverse and growing client base with tailored, strategic financing solutions. As part of our team, you will guide clients through their journey, from selecting the right product to completing their financing, ensuring a seamless and values-aligned experience.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide expert guidance on StrideUp's Home Purchase Plans (HPP) and Buy-to-Let Purchase Plans (BTLPP), tailored to individual client needs
  • Consistently meet or exceed set targets for applications, offers, and completed cases
  • Manage the financing process from initial inquiry to completion, ensuring clients feel informed and supported at every stage
  • Ensure all advice and processes comply with regulatory standards and internal policies
  • Deliver an outstanding customer experience, addressing client concerns promptly and fostering trust and satisfaction
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including intermediary Sales, compliance, underwriting, and technology, to deliver optimal outcomes for clients

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualification to provide mortgage advice in the UK (e.g., CeMAP / Certificate in Mortgage Advice)
  • 2+ years of experience as a Mortgage Adviser, with a strong understanding of mortgage products and regulatory requirements
  • Extensive Buy-to-Let (BTL) financing experience, with the ability to handle a variety of cases including (but not limited to) Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMOs), Multi-Unit Blocks (MUBs) & Portfolio landlords
  • Passion for Islamic finance and a desire to help customers achieve financial parity through Shariah-compliant solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused and results-driven mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and cases simultaneously, ensuring efficiency and high service standards

Nice to have:

  • The ability to speak one or more of the following languages is highly desirable: Arabic, Gujarati, Turkish, or Somali
  • Achieved Competent Adviser Status (CAS) within a previous role
  • Experience working in a scale-up or fintech environment
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM systems
