Job Description:

We are recruiting for an experienced Home Manager to lead Hazelwood Care Home, a well-established elderly residential service with a strong local reputation and good CQC rating. This is an excellent opportunity for a manager seeking a stable, high-performing home, rather than a turnaround environment. The service benefits from strong team morale, no agency usage, and consistent performance.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage the day-to-day running of an elderly residential care home
  • Maintain high standards of care and CQC compliance
  • Drive and sustain occupancy levels within a competitive local market
  • Lead, support, and develop a stable staff team
  • Build relationships with residents, families, and local stakeholders
  • Oversee recruitment and local marketing activity

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Home Manager within elderly care
  • NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or working towards)
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Commercial awareness, particularly around occupancy and marketing
  • Proven track record of maintaining compliance and quality standards
