Job Description:

Compass Associates are working with an established, multi-site elderly care provider seeking an experienced Home Manager to lead a mid-sized nursing, residential and dementia service in Liverpool. This is a key leadership opportunity for a confident operator to take ownership of a stable home, embed consistent leadership, and drive the next phase of improvement. The home benefits from strong occupancy and a positive reputation, offering a solid platform for a Home Manager who wants to refine, enhance, and build on existing performance, rather than inherit a full turnaround.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead and operationally manage a nursing, residential and dementia care home
  • Create a positive, high-quality experience for residents and families
  • Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing team
  • Embed strong governance, compliance, and quality assurance frameworks
  • Drive occupancy, reputation, and long-term sustainability
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders including families, commissioners, and healthcare professionals

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Home Manager within elderly care
  • Experience managing services of a similar size and complexity
  • Strong operational, commercial, and leadership capability
  • Experience working within regulated environments and delivering against CQC standards
  • A visible, confident leader with strong communication and organisational skills

Nice to have:

Nursing background desirable, but not essential
