Job Description:

Developing retail sale strategies to maximize growth and profitability; Steering sales and gross margin across channels; Driving sustainability initiatives; Managing product range, pricing, and sales forecasting; Coaching store co-workers on selling competence

Job Responsibility:

  • Drive the long-term growth of the business through the development of commercial offers, sales techniques and activities through all channels
  • Play an active role in sustainability initiatives by incorporating sustainability priorities into the product offerings, such as promoting energy-efficient lighting options
  • Manage the product range, sizing, and pricing strategy for the Home Furnishing Business (HFB) to meet customer demands. Set local pricing strategies and propose commercial activities. Provide input on pricing and forecasting to enhance service offerings
  • Responsible for the Sales planning and forecasting for the defined HFBs
  • Steer sales and gross margin across channels to reach plan and react to deviations to ensure sales output is in line with selling objectives
  • Develop local commercial solutions that cater to customer needs by implementing solutions from Home Furnishing & Retail Design (HFRD), Market Support. Create tailored sales solutions to enhance the customer experience and increase conversion rates
  • Coach store co-workers throughout the market on selling competence

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in working with commercial planning, sales or similar
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in leading co-workers
  • Strong understanding of financial reports, budgeting, and key metrics with the ability to apply financial insights to support business planning and decision-making
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel and Powerpoint
  • Proficiency using Power BI for data analysis
  • Experience in retail, preferably home furnishing sector
  • Experience in Sales, Business Management, Marketing or equivalent
  • Experience in planning, driving output and measuring business performance
  • Experience in Product Development (preferred)
