We are currently recruiting Female Home Care Workers to support clients across the Sefton area. This is a female-only role, which is lawful under the Equality Act 2010 (Schedule 9, Part 1: Occupational Requirements) due to the personal care duties involved, including intimate care. Many of our clients request female carers to maintain their dignity, privacy, and cultural preferences. Therefore, being female is a genuine occupational requirement for this position. Applicants must live in, or be able to reliably travel within, the Sefton area and hold a full UK driving licence with access to their own vehicle.
Job Responsibility:
Provide personal care (washing, dressing, toileting, grooming)
Support daily living tasks (meal prep, medication reminders, housekeeping)
Offer companionship and emotional support
Conduct wellbeing checks
Follow care plans and company policies
Work collaboratively with your team
Requirements:
Compassionate, reliable, and patient individuals
Strong communication skills
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends
Previous care experience preferred but not essential
Willingness to undergo background checks
Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle (with business insurance)
Ability to work across the Sefton area
Must be female
