Job Description

As a Home Care Support Worker you will provide care to individuals, within their own homes. This will involve travelling between clients through the community as well as our retirement villages. You’ll perform a variety of tasks according to the person led care plan, this may change periodically dependent upon the needs and wishes of the customer. We’re committed to giving you the best start possible and you will receive thorough training, including shadow training with an Experienced Worker before being expected to work alone.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide care to individuals within their own homes
  • Travel between clients through the community and retirement villages
  • Perform tasks according to the person led care plan
  • Provide personal care (helping get up and dressed, bathing, medication, nutritional needs)
  • Provide domestic support (housework, laundry, shopping)
  • Assist with financial care (collecting pension, budgeting, managing bills)
  • Provide social support (accompanying to activities or days out)

  • Willing to travel and able to drive to rural areas, with business insurance
