Greater Asia HC SHE Manager/ TH SHE Manager Reporting to the Greater Asia/ Indonesia/ Greater China SHE Director, you will be an awesome Safety leader to join our team in a dynamic role leading the Safety Health and Environment function for Unilever Greater Asia Home Care Business Unit & acting as Country SHE Manager for Thailand.

Job Responsibility

  • Driving the Day To Day Security Agenda for the sites as Site SHE Coordinator for Security, Maintain & Upgrade the Security Infrastructure as needed
  • Conduct Site Security Assessment & Execute Site Security Plans after ensuring the mandatory trainings are attended monthly
  • Business Partnering the Home Care Sites for SHE in Greater Asia & Indonesia
  • Implementing Best Practices/ Sharing of Incidents/ Controls across the Home Care & the assigned NU/Foods Site
  • Act as the Thailand Country SHE Manager being the senior most SHE Person in the country, get involved when Incident Management Team is activated, support the Go To Market Thailand, Greater Asia as needed during Emergencies/ Disasters
  • Comprehensive understanding of Thailand OH&S, State Workers Compensation
  • Execute Global and Regional Unilever SHE programs – responsible for driving and executing those programs in Greater Asia/ Indonesia Home Care Function
  • Leading incident/accident investigations and lessons learned, closing audit gaps & findings in a timely manner

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, in Safety, Engineering, Science, Environment or higher
  • Leading Risk Assessments, Strong advocate of implementation of Engineering Controls
  • Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety (desirable), Chief Fire Warden, Injury Prevention Trainings/ Certificates (desirable)
  • Familiar with OH&S Management systems eg: ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 certifications
  • Relevant experience in Workers Compensation, Self-Insurance, Return to Work & working with local authorities of Thailand
  • Has worked in a prior role where you have actively transformed safety, led a team have ingoted a passion for safety wellbeing and sustainability
  • Good track record in not just SHE partnering but also being a OH&S advocate – someone who is a go to person specially with people who are at the front line or not familiar with OH&S around the Home Care Sites
  • Can-do attitude and the ability to do the job hands on with one eye in the future
  • Strong analytical focus on reporting and governance
