Job Description:

We are looking for a Hogan Mainframe Developer to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and at least 5 years of experience in Hogan applications and mainframe programming. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential. This is a full-time position with immediate start.

Job Responsibility:

  • Hands-on development, testing, and application design
  • Design, develop, install, test, and document complex application software at client product installations
  • Contribute to the design and delivery of technical architecture solution components
  • Develop and enhance front-end support methodology for Business Analysts
  • Responsible for JCL, programming, testing, conversion monitoring, and verification

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in Hogan applications and mainframe programming
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Hogan Application Expertise: Hogan Deposits (DDA & TDA), Hogan RPM, Hogan CIS, Hogan Umbrella, Hogan PAS, Hogan ODS, Hogan CAMS
  • Extensive knowledge of Hogan's process dictionary components and PCDs
  • Experience in conversions, development, or implementation of new Hogan system releases
  • Mainframe Programming: COBOL II, CICS/VSAM and/or IMS/DB2
  • Tools: Easytrieve, JCL, MVS Operating System, Expeditor, Endeavor and/or Changeman source managers
  • Mainframe Utilities: SORT Utilities, ICTOOL
  • Hogan Core Banking Applications
  • Hogan concepts: Umbrella, PEM, CDMF, Librarian, Logical Environments, Hogan Abend identification and fixing (online & batch)
  • Superior problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with software design, SDLC, development methodologies, and implementation
