Job Description:

About the Role: Justteachers is recruiting a confident and experienced HLTA for a long-term supply role in a primary school in Halifax, starting ASAP and continuing until Summer. The role involves supporting teaching and learning across the school, including covering classes and leading small‑group interventions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead learning activities and provide classroom cover when required
  • Support pupils across the primary curriculum
  • Deliver targeted small‑group interventions
  • Support behaviour management and positive learning attitudes
  • Create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment

Requirements:

  • HLTA qualification or relevant experience in a similar role
  • Experience working in a UK primary school
  • Strong safeguarding knowledge and practice
  • Ability to provide two education‑based references
