New Line Learning Academy is seeking a committed and compassionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join Orchard House, our brand-new specialist Key Stage 3 emotional wellbeing and reintegration provision supporting students experiencing Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA), anxiety and emotionally based attendance barriers. Orchard House provides a calm, nurturing and highly personalised environment where students can rebuild confidence, strengthen emotional wellbeing and gradually reintegrate into mainstream education. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with a small group of vulnerable young people and make a genuine difference to their lives.
Job Responsibility
Delivering elements of PSHE and Personal Development
Supporting students within therapeutic and emotional wellbeing sessions
Working alongside teachers in English, Mathematics and Science lessons
Mentoring and supporting emotional regulation
Helping students rebuild confidence, routines and readiness for learning
Requirements
Passionate about inclusion and supporting vulnerable young people
Experience working with students experiencing SEMH, anxiety or SEND
Ability to build exceptional relationships with young people
Calm, nurturing and resilient
