Job Responsibility
Provide whole-class cover supervision during teacher absence
Plan and lead targeted intervention groups (e.g., literacy, numeracy, SEN)
Contribute to lesson planning, resource creation, and student assessment
Support students with SEN and work closely with the SENCO
Mentor or support other Teaching Assistants where applicable
Uphold high standards of behaviour management and safeguarding
Requirements
HLTA Status OR a relevant Level 4+ qualification with significant TA experience
Proven experience covering classes and leading learning activities independently
Strong knowledge of the UK primary curriculum and assessment practices
Experience planning and delivering effective intervention programmes
Experience supporting students with SEN and implementing EHCPs
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
Nice to have
SEN experience
HLTA Status (or equivalent Level 4+ qualification)
