About the Role; Position Description

Job Responsibility:

  • Design, develop, test, and implement HL7 interfaces
  • Support and enhance existing Mirth based applications to ensure high availability
  • Manage and maintain Mirth Connect servers, including upgrades, configuration changes, and security remediation
  • Troubleshoot performance issues and monitor inbound data feeds
  • Work with HL7 V2.x/V3.x message types (ADT, ORU, etc.)
  • Support QA, UAT, and post production stabilization activities
  • Document technical processes, workflows, and procedures
  • Work with real time (TCP/IP, VPN) and batch (FTP/SFTP) interfaces
  • Perform web service and API integrations, including two way SSL
  • Execute database queries (Oracle, SQL Server)

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience designing, developing, testing, and implementing HL7 interfaces
  • Strong hands‑on experience with HL7 V2.x and V3.x
  • Experience developing unit, integration, and UAT test cases, validating HL7 message data
  • Ability to manage high‑availability clustered Mirth environments
  • Experience configuring, upgrading, and troubleshooting Mirth Connect
  • Experience enhancing and maintaining existing Mirth applications
  • Experience with real‑time (TCP/IP, VPN) and batch (FTP/SFTP) interfaces
  • Experience with web services, API calls, and two‑way SSL
  • Ability to write and execute database queries
