Job Description

We are expanding our Sexual Health Service in Doncaster and are seeking experienced, compassionate HIV Clinical Nurses to join our multidisciplinary team supporting approximately 500 people living with HIV. This is a varied and autonomous role delivering high-quality care across outpatient, inpatient and community settings, while contributing to education, prevention and service development.

Job Responsibility

  • Supporting newly diagnosed patients, including partner notification
  • Managing a caseload of patients living with HIV
  • Administering treatment and performing venepuncture
  • Contributing to MDT discussions and care planning
  • Providing psychosocial support and health promotion
  • Supporting safeguarding and women’s health (including antenatal care)
  • Delivering training to professionals and partner agencies

Requirements

  • RGN or RM with current NMC registration
  • Post-registration qualification in HIV care
  • Mentorship/training qualification
  • Strong knowledge of HIV treatment, prevention and national guidance
  • Confident working autonomously with sound clinical judgement
  • Committed to high-quality, inclusive and patient-centred care
