Randstad Education is looking for a dedicated History Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Birmingham. This is a full-time position starting in April 2026 and running until the end of the academic year.
Job Responsibility:
Delivering high-quality History lessons across KS3 and KS4
Ensuring all students are supported and challenged
Requirements:
UK Experience: previous experience teaching History in a UK school setting
Qualifications: Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Subject Knowledge: A strong command of the KS3 and KS4 History curriculum (KS5 experience is a bonus)
Compliance: Must possess or be willing to apply for an enhanced DBS on the Update Service
Classroom Management: Proven ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively while fostering a positive learning environment
Nice to have:
