Duties as History Teacher: Teach History full-time across relevant secondary year groups Plan and deliver engaging lessons that develop analytical thinking and historical understanding Adapt teaching approaches to meet varied learning needs and abilities Maintain consistent behaviour expectations and a positive classroom climate Assess pupil progress and provide clear, constructive feedback Contribute to departmental planning and collaborative curriculum development Support pupils in developing strong essay-writing, source analysis, and contextual knowledge Uphold safeguarding expectations and prioritise pupil welfare
