History Teacher - £140 - £150 per day - Orpington. Randstad is seeking a talented and enthusiastic History Teacher to join a dynamic and well-regarded Secondary School in Oprington. Job Responsibility:

  • Delivering Engaging Lessons: plan and teach high-quality history lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE), and potentially Key Stage 5 (A-Level), following the UK curriculum
  • Fostering a Love of Learning: create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment where students feel confident to explore complex historical events and ideas
  • Collaborating with Your Team: work alongside a supportive and experienced team of humanities professionals
  • Full Teaching Responsibilities: lesson planning, marking, assessments, and pastoral duties
  • Upholding School Standards: adhere to all school policies and procedures, including those related to safeguarding and student welfare

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • degree in History or a related field
  • Child DBS on the update service
  • experience teaching the UK curriculum within a secondary school
  • excellent classroom management skills
  • ability to create a positive learning atmosphere
