Are you a passionate and dedicated History Teacher seeking a new opportunity to inspire learners in a supportive educational environment? We are working with a secondary school in Weston-Super-Mare to recruit a qualified History Teacher for a fixed-term position during Term 4. This is an excellent chance to join a committed team within a growing school community that values high standards and student success. The role is suitable for an experienced Teacher with a background in Humanities, particularly History, who holds QTS or QTLS status.

Job Responsibility:

Delivering engaging History lessons to GCSE level students
Planning and marking
Teaching some Health and Social Care lessons as part of the regular timetable

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS)
Proven experience teaching History within a secondary school setting
Strong knowledge of the secondary curriculum, particularly Humanities and History
Good classroom management and organisation skills
Ability to adapt lessons to meet the diverse needs of learners
