Job Description

A welcoming and ambitious secondary school in the coastal West Sussex area is seeking a passionate History Teacher to join their team. This opportunity is being supported by Pink Tile Education, a specialist education recruitment agency working closely with schools across the region.

Job Responsibility

  • Deliver engaging History lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Inspire curiosity about key historical events, figures, and periods
  • Develop students’ analytical, writing, and critical thinking skills
  • Contribute to curriculum planning within a collaborative Humanities department
  • Support a positive, inclusive, and high-achieving learning environment

Requirements

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Has strong subject knowledge of the secondary History curriculum
  • Can motivate and engage students of all abilities
  • Is committed to high-quality teaching and learning
  • Works well within a supportive team environment
