Job Description:

A welcoming and ambitious secondary school in the coastal West Sussex area is seeking a passionate History Teacher to join their team. This opportunity is being supported by Pink Tile Education, a specialist education recruitment agency working closely with schools across the region.

Job Responsibility:

Deliver engaging History lessons across KS3 and KS4
Inspire curiosity about key historical events, figures, and periods
Develop students’ analytical, writing, and critical thinking skills
Contribute to curriculum planning within a collaborative Humanities department
Support a positive, inclusive, and high-achieving learning environment

Requirements:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Has strong subject knowledge of the secondary History curriculum
Can motivate and engage students of all abilities
Is committed to high-quality teaching and learning
Works well within a supportive team environment

Nice to have:

KS5 desirable but not essential
