Job Responsibility:

To perform histological preparations that are consistent with the Section's Policies and Procedures in order to deliver quality slides to the pathologist in a timely manner

Requirements:

  • High School, Cert, GED, Trn, Exper
  • Clinical Laboratory Histology Technologist license
  • Clinical Laboratory Supervisor license
  • Complete knowledge of Histology lab procedure including cryostat, gross room, accessioning, embedding and microtomy
  • TN – Clinical Laboratory Technologist or SU – Clinical Laboratory Supervisor license required
  • Either license must have qualification in histology technologist
  • Minimum Required Experience: 2 Years

Nice to have:

ASCP certification is preferred
