As the new Hire Manager at the Pontypool branch, you’ll be at the forefront of driving success and hitting key targets. This is an exciting opportunity for a sales-driven, customer-focused leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’ll lead a team of 2 people and oversee one Beavertail HGV for the use of the hire team.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and execute a sales action plan to exceed budget performance
Support integration of Hire into the wider Travis Perkins branch
Provide training and coaching to branch colleagues
Ensure all tools and equipment are in safe, working condition
Balance stock levels to meet demand
Oversee day-to-day operations of the Hire team
Handle customer queries and upsell to boost sales
Conduct daily toolbox talks and maintain effective communication
Requirements:
Experience in tool hire, plant hire, or a leadership role
Sales or customer service experience
Leadership skills
Safety-focused
Proactive attitude
