Job Description:

We are currently seeking a new Administration Assistant to perform the role of a Hire Desk Assistant for our West Drayton office within our General Cranes division. This role provides lots of scope for individuality, continuous improvement and achievement when presented with numerous challenges. This will be a very busy but extremely rewarding role with the opportunity for development and progression within the business.

Job Responsibility:

  • Managing the arrangement of resources required for each order
  • Raising contracts, job sheets, operator tickets etc
  • Organising site visits
  • Chasing debtors and overdue payments
  • Dealing with local authorities and traffic management companies
  • Assist with the management of the welfare, safety and working hours of all related personnel
  • Assist with the working success of the Hire Desk
  • Assist with environmental, health and safety legal & statutory requirements within the depot

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years' administration experience
  • Full working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Professional with excellent communication and organisation skills
  • Prioritisation and the ability to work under pressure
  • Must have the right to live and work in the UK
  • Must live within a daily commutable distance of West Drayton

Nice to have:

Previous working experience on a Hire Desk or working within a crane/plant hire company
