Highway Weed Control Operative - must have Pesticide Qualifications Location: St. Helens and surrounding areas Hourly Rate: £12.71-£13.50 depending on experience and qualifications Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time Working Hours: 45 hours, Monday - Friday, 0630 - 1600 We currently require a Weed Control Operative to join our team in St. Helens to support on a new contract. You will keep several roadways across the North West in a wonderful condition for our local authority contracts, through application of pesticides along main road verges. There may also be the occasional need for grounds maintenance, such as grass cutting; using a ride on and pedestrian mower, strimming, pruning, weeding, shrub and border maintenance, litter picking and any other related horticultural duties. Requirements
Previous experience in pesticide spraying of large areas, with PA1 and PA6 spraying licences essential. PA2 would be advantageous
Previous Grounds Maintenance working experience would be beneficial
Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Reliable with a can-do attitude and safety-conscious mindset
A full valid UK driving licence is essential
