Requirements

Significant experience as a Site Agent or Senior Sub Agent on heavy highways or major infrastructure schemes is mandatory
Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering
SMSTS, CSCS Black or Gold Card, and First Aid are essential
Strong programming, commercial acumen, and communication skills to manage site teams and interface with the client

Job Responsibility

Take full ownership of your assigned highway package, managing the program, resources, and subcontractors to hit key milestones
Manage and mentor the section site engineers and supervisors, ensuring accurate engineering control and compliance
Develop and review 2-4 week look-ahead programmes, coordinating plant, labor, and material requirements
Write, review, and implement RAMS. Enforce strict site safety and Chapter 8 traffic management standards
Manage section costs, track outputs against target budgets, and oversee the close-out of ITPs and quality documentation

Highway Experience: Proven track record working as a Sub Agent or Senior Engineer on major highways infrastructure projects (National Highways experience preferred)
Technical Background: Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering
Certifications: SMSTS, CSCS Black or Gold Card, and First Aid
Skills: Strong communication, programming capability (MS Project or Primavera), and the ability to manage multi-disciplinary site teams

Job Responsibility

Section Management: Oversee the execution of assigned highway packages, managing site engineers and subcontractors to deliver to programme
Short-Term Planning: Develop 2-4 week look-ahead programmes, coordinating plant, labor, and material requirements
Health & Safety: Write, review, and implement RAMS. Ensure all works comply with Chapter 8 traffic management and strict site safety rules
Quality & Engineering: Review and sign off on ITPs, ensure quality records are accurately maintained, and manage technical queries (RFIs)
Commercial Support: Track daily costs, measure outputs against the budget, and record any variations or delays
