Job Description

As a Highway Fleet Dispatcher, you will be expected to execute the day to day activity of your assigned driver fleet. This includes monitoring of the fleet, accurately distributing, receiving and updating information. You will be responsible for identifying and participating in the resolution of issues relating to day to day activity of the Driver. You must be well organized, an excellent communicator and have a keen sense of timeliness in carrying out daily activities.

Job Responsibility

  • Transmitting and receiving of all information relevant to the driver performing his/her duties within the Company and customer requirements
  • Handling of all driver related satellite messages or calls within assigned and overflow queues
  • Reporting and documenting of all customer service, planning and driver related issues to the appropriate personnel
  • Ensuring the system reflects an accurate portrayal of events and times
  • Immediately addressing all scheduling conflicts or issues as they arise
  • Providing drivers with plans and routing as required
  • Forming positive working relations with all drivers

Requirements

  • You must have dispatch experience in order to be considered for this role
  • Dedicated experience providing customer service in a similar work environment
