Job Description:

TreeHouse school is an Ofsted 'Outstanding' non-maintained special school, providing support and education to 112 autistic pupils aged 4 -19. Our mission is to stand with autistic children and young people, champion their rights and create opportunities for them.

Job Responsibility:

Support the Class Teacher in contributing and delivering high quality learning and teaching

Requirements:

Taking responsibility for agreed learning activities under an agreed system of supervision
Working with identified curriculums and supporting specific subjects
Helping with lesson planning
Developing learning resources
Delivering lessons
Supporting the assessment of learning
Supporting extra-curricular activities such as education visits
Recording/reporting pupil outcomes
At times, will be the lead practitioner in the class delivering whole class teaching without the teacher present
