Job Description:

Join our vibrant learning community as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA). In this role, you will support teachers in delivering engaging lessons, assist with planning and resources, and provide tailored support to students. You'll contribute to the overall learning environment and help students achieve their full potential. We offer professional development and a warm, collaborative work culture.

Job Responsibility:

Supporting teachers in delivering high-quality lessons
assisting with lesson planning, preparing resources, and setting up the classroom
assessing student progress and providing feedback
providing tailored support to individual students and small groups
planning and delivering learning activities
marking student work
leading small group activities
providing interventions
working with students who have special educational needs

Requirements:

Holds a recognised qualification as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant or has equivalent experience
possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and staff
is highly motivated and committed to student success, with a genuine passion for education
has a strong work ethic and a positive attitude, demonstrating resilience and a willingness to go the extra mile
is able to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues and sharing ideas

Nice to have:

Experience working with special educational needs
planning and delivering learning activities
supporting students with social and emotional development
