Job Description:

Justteachers are seeking a committed and compassionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a state‑of‑the‑art SEND school in Lymm. This specialist provision supports children aged 4–16 with a broad range of SEND needs.

Job Responsibility:

Deliver high‑quality, tailored support for pupils with additional needs within a specialist provision
Lead and assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and effective behaviour support strategies
Promote and model a positive, inclusive learning environment that enables every learner to succeed
Work collaboratively with teachers, the SENCO, and wider staff to deliver targeted interventions and curriculum support
Provide consistent social, emotional, and sensory support to pupils throughout the school day
Maintain clear, consistent communication with parents and carers regarding each pupil’s progress, development, and overall well‑being

Requirements:

Experience working with children in a SEND or intervention-based role
Strong knowledge and understanding of SEND strategies and inclusive practice
A calm, consistent and encouraging approach
Two or more education based references within the last 2 years
legal right to work in the UK
