Job Description:

We are seeking a confident, skilled, Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HTLA) to join a supportive primary school team in Prestwich. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who can lead learning, deliver planned lessons and provide high quality support across the school. As a HTLA you will work closely with teachers to deliver engaging learning experiences, support small groups, 1:1 and whole class teaching and can contribute to a positive, inclusive school environment.

Job Responsibility:

Deliver pre-planned lessons across the primary age range in the teacher’s absence
Support pupils’ learning through small-group work and interventions
Help to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment
Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff and senior leaders
Follow safeguarding procedures and always uphold schools’ values

Requirements:

HTLA qualification or equivalent
Strong classroom management skills
Experience working across primary year groups
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for children’s learning and development
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children
Two education or school-based references
